03/30/21 R2 Asset Management took part in the Invest Day conference of Kommersant Publishing House as a partner. The general director of the company Vyacheslav Rozhmanov spoke at the conference. The event traditionally discussed the appearance in the financial world of the “black swan” – the COVID-19 pandemic and the turbulence of 2020. The pandemic has left a mark in all areas: medicine, politics, economics. States have included various support measures, understanding their need. Central banks were forced to take serious measures to stimulate national economies, trying to save domestic businesses with subsidies. The second step was to lower interest rates. From an economic point of view, these measures should lead the country out of the approaching crisis. However, from an investment point of view, lowering interest rates to zero makes it unprofitable to keep money on a deposit. Investors are starting to think about new tools for increasing their own capital.
Which investment strategy to choose today?
